English Ivy (Hedera helix)
Main Benefits:
Often used as a ground cover plant in lobbies or building atriums, English ivy is also suitable as a topiary plant or for use in hanging baskets.
Easy to grow but do not do well indoors in high temperatures.
The leaves lose their colouring if deprived of light. This plant may benefit from being outdoors for the spring or summer.
Particularly effective at removing formaldehyde.
Care:
Semi-sun to semi-shade.
Water with room-temperature water in the spring and summer. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings in the fall and winter.Mist often, especially during the winter or when the air is dry. Feed with a weak-concentration fertilizer when the plant is growing.
Grows well in soil or hydroculture.
