Golden Pothos (Epipremnum aureum)

Withstands neglect! The plant for your friend who can’t grow anything, the Golden pothos prevents the pathos of plant-growing failure: arguably the easiest houseplant to grow, it is resistant to insect infestations, grows quickly, can be trained to climb, and does not lose its colour (as many houseplants do) when deprived of light.
Actually a vine with green heart-shaped leaves accented with gold or cream colours, the Golden pothos is sometimes mistakenly sold as Philodendron scindapus.
The “sap” irritates skin and mucus membranes.
Care:
Semi-shade to shade.
Likes any growing medium, but hydroculture is easiest for autopilot-maintenance.
